I have had my 1026R for almost 2 years and about 240 hours. The AutoConnect deck has worked well and so has the 647 tiller and the 54 inch snowblower. I have read on this forum a lot about owners with a FEL having FBS or DBS. This concerns me but I don't think my FEL/tractor has FBS/DBS. I even discussed this with my JD Service Manager and had him view some of the videos on this topic. I previously owned a JD 855 with a FEL. Although the speed and power of that FEL is greater than that of the 1026/5 R I feel that it performs OK for the size of the tractor. I have not had any issues with the loader stand(the original design). Am I missing something? Or have I been lucky? Or does my Service Manager know how to properly set up the tractor? Are there owners out there who are satisfied with how their 1026/5 R FEL functions?
