Well, out of the blue, the Service Manager called me, and asked if he could send a Tech to test my 5065E. Seems the Factory contacted him, and asked to have the Rear Hitch Valve tested, particularly, the equalizing function (or valve -- no one tells me what is going on).
Tech came, and said the Rear Hitch Valve is not working properly, doesn't lift my MX8 shredder properly, and doesn't equalize.
Now, where have I heard that scenario of problems before --- OH THAT"S RIGHT -- that's exactly what I have told them for the last year and 2 melted fuel tanks !!!!
So the 5065E and my MX8 were picked up last week. They haven't started on it yet.
Well, apparently filing a "I AM NOT SATISFIED" email on the JD website helped, and so did calling the 800 JD Consumer Complaint Line and asking them to "escalate" the claim at least got JD interested in looking into the problem.
PS --- Louisiana has a "Lemon Law" and I am told that after the 3rd failure, you get a lawyer and pay them to get your money back. You can bet I am keeping notes.
