The pto on our Power Shift 4230 doesn't stop when pto is disengaged. It would stop turning when engine clutch pedal is push in. We checked pressure at the brake and clutch ports . The brake when pto disengaged had 170 PSI and drop to 0 PSI when pto is engaged. The clutch has 150 PSI when PTO is disengaged and 170 PSI when pto is engaged. With PTO disengaged and engine clutch pushed in the PTO clutch port pressure drops to 0 PSI. We had found metal ( brass and silver fines ) when we changed hydro filters. Also found metal in the Trans and PTO clutch valves and Trans clutch regulating valve. Pulled axles and found brakes needed replaced, replaced the brakes. Cleaned valve housings and replaced clutch plate (r51575) and gaskets. Still have the same pressure readings as before. We are thinking that the Trans and PTO clutch valve may be the problem, we can see some metal damage in the bores and on the valves. Tech book doesn't say pressure on the clutch port should be 0 PSI when PTO clutch is disengaged, I am assuming this. Am I correct on this and can this valve be rebuilt?
