So as you guys know from the other thread, my 1025R should be here within 5-7 days.
I have the 60" Deck with autoconnect on order. However, I've read about all kinds of problems with getting it to actually connect/disconnect correctly, and I'm worried I'm going to get the same on mine.
When I was shopping the tractor the dealership manager had a setup mechanic (presumably the same guy who will be doing mine) go through it. He said that he can get "some of them to work right and some of them are a pain". That doesn't ease my concerns any.
Is it common that these come incorrectly set up, or is it just a case of "this didn't work so I am going to complain about it on the Internet to anyone who will listen"? FWIW my buddy has a 1023E and he drove on and off his deck and it worked perfectly. He bought from a different branch of the same dealership that I got mine from so it's likely that their mechanics are at least trained on it.
