Hi Everyone,
I have a 2305, I managed to hit a rock half buried in the ground, the damage is horrible. I went back to the garage, and tranny fluid was coming out.
the collard on the deck that attaches to the output shat of the pto was pushed back. I went ahead and slid the rest of it off to see the splined shaft. the oil was coming out off the bottom and the shaft turns freely. This can't be good.
The JD dealer I took it to didn't think it was that bad and was surprised at the damage. They recommended another dealer on the outskirts of KC who sells a lot of the 2305"s.
Is the output shaft supposed to spin freely?
Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks,
kc1
